Cross Border Tour 15 Days


This tour takes you to the highest sand dunes in Namibia, towards the vast Damaraland , as well as the fascination Spitskoppe mountains in the Erongo Region, a relaxing time in the coastal town of Swakopmund, with its German structural building and plenty of activities to chose from. Further towards the world renowned Etosha National Park, into the chobe national park and down to the falling water curtains of the world famous Victoria Falls. This tour can either be done on a combination of camping and lodging or only with lodging and accommodation only.

Day 01 – ARRIVAL  /WINDHOEK   45km  +- 30 min drive

Arriving at the Hosea Kutako International Airport, you will be met by your representative or guide. Introduction will take place afterwards you will leave for  the City, Windhoek is the capital City of Namibia situated 45 km from the Hosea Kutako International airport, A cosmopolitan yet distinctive African city kaleidoscope of modern an traditional  cultures and architectural style buildings. Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure exploring the city on foot. A short City Tour will be conducted to familiarize yourself .


Days 02 & 03 – WINDHOEK / SOSSUSVLEI (aprox. 370 Km. – 3/4hrs)

This Morning after leisure breakfast, , you will  exit to the  gigantic dunes of Sossusvlei One of the unique and oldest deserts of the world, offering 130 million years of marvellous nature and the highest dunes of sand of the world.  Many dunes are lineal and parallels to the sea.  The sand is very orange due to the iron ore that contains and that simply has oxidized.  We will arrive at our lodge situated 30 km from Sesriem in the afternoon and we will entertain with a short walk to the nearby Tube of Sesriem.  To the entrance of Sossusvlei is the Sesriem Canyon, like the result of the erosion during many centuries a throat of a kilometre appears more or less than length and some 30/40 meters of depth.  The following day we will leave early morning to enter the National Park of Sossusvlei situated inside the Namib Naukluft, where we will scale the Dune 45 for  to appreciate the dawn and the different perspectives of the desert as well as to explore the nearby deadvlei  After having breakfast they will be able to enter Sossusvlei.


Day 04&05 – SOSSUSVLEI / SWAKOPMUND (aprox. 350 Km – 4/5hrs)

Traversing towards Swakopmund through the dry Namib Naukluft, crossing the Tropic of Capricorn as well as  stopping en route in Walvis Bay where, if we are fortunate, we will be able to see flamingos that inhabit the zone before continuing  the coastal town Swakopmund, a pleasant city of German style situated exactly between the desert and the sea.  Large beach, simple shops and good sea food restaurants are to be found here, there are various activities that can be done in this city.  Such as Quadbiking, sandboarding, parachuting in the dunes, scenic flights, catamaran, etc. Just inform your tour leader or Tour guide in advance.


Day 06 – SWAKOPMUND / TWYFELFONTEIN (aprox. 380 Km –1/1,30hrs)

The following morning after leisure breakfast, Early Morning after breakfast, we will depart towards the Spitzkoppe mountain, our next destination, First we will make a stop at the Seal Colony. which is home to thousands of Cape fur seals. We will traverse through the town of Henties Bay, Which is also home to the salt works. Taking the salt roads via the coastal line, we arrive to the Cape cross lodge, situated on the edge of the fertile Atlantic Ocean, a serene haven for visitors to this vast untamed, seldom explored wilderness at the Skeleton Coast  . Twyfelfontein.  Which is an area extraordinary acquaintance for the engravings in stone carried out by the first inhabitants of the zone, We will be visiting the Organ Pipes as well as the Mountain Burned.  Twyfelfontein is known for its geological and historic place and has been grated as a world heritage sites.   Optionally, you could as well embark on a game drive early morning or late afternoon in search for the scares desert elephants which you might encounter should you be lucky enough.Spend the afternoon at leisure exploring the surrounding


Day 07 – TWYFELFONTEIN / KAMANJAB (aprox. 300 Km – 4/5hrs)

We arrive in Kamanjab, where you will notice beautifully decorated woman and young ladies, with their famous ochre, a mixture of fat and red powder found from crushed red stone, this ochre is smeared on them, to protect them from the sun as well as smoothening their skin. . During the afternoon, you will have plenty of time interacting with the people of this unique are, who still preserves the old ways of living. We will also visit the nearby villages, providing us with an indepth opportunity to look into the lifestyles of the Himba tribe, as well as their cultures, from young to woman and man. Spend the afternoon at leisure exploring the surroundings by foot.


Days 08 & 09 – KAMANJAB / ETOSHA N.P. (aprox.  Km.380 – 2/3hrs)

We will begin the day early in direction to the Etosha National Park, where we will enjoy one of the places of Africa for animal observation. Etosha is an extraordinary wildlife area, set amongst long stretches of arid savannah and scattered with waterholes, salt pans and lush woodlands attracting a wide variety of game.  It dominated by the shining and white salty plain we will have the opportunity to see elephants, lions, orix, kudu, springbok, zebras, giraffes, etc. and with a lot of luck we will be able to see white or black rhinoceroses, and leopards.  The two Days will be spend doing safaris in the park as well as visiting waterholes ,where  animals come to drink water. 


Day 10– ETOSHA / DIVUNDI –(approx. 350 km 4/5hrs)

After early breakfast, we will exit the park game driving towards the northern part of Namibia, we will be travelling most of the time, today to arrive before sunset at our destination, situated at the start of the famous Okavango Delta, with its start in Namibia, we will be accommodated at the river bed. Crossing small villages of the Kavongo people, we will have stops visiting one of the local villages, getting to learn the culture and traditions of the people Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure exploring the surrounding area,


Days 11&12 DIVUNDU – CHOBE N/KASANE. (Approx. 450 km 5 /6 hrs)

Kasane is a small and attractive border town situated between Chobe and Victoria Falls and is very popular for travellers. Kasanes two main attractions are its excellent fishing and the Chobe National Park, the park does not have a fence, and therefore provides animals roaming around freely. During the afternoon, you will embark on a afternoon boat cruise in the Chobe river, where you will have an excellent bird watching as well as have a closer look at the hippos and the elephants. The following morning, you will have an early wake up for the morning game drive to the Chobe National Park as well as the afternoon boat cruise on the chobe river.. Spend the rest of the day.


Days 13+14 – Chobe National Park – Victoria Falls (approx. 80 km 1hrs)

Today we head into Victoria Falls. Victoria Falls is known as the largest curtain of falling water in the world stretching 1708m across. There are various activities to embark with  such as water rafting, sky diving, etc spend the rest of the days at leisure exploring the town and what it has to offer
