You will be going to the most fascinating destination, such as the Kalahari desert, namib desert, the fascinating Fish River Canyon , Luderitz as well as as Etosha, and the table mountain at waterberg
Day 01 – ARRIVAL /WINDHOEK 45km +- 30 min drive
Arriving at the Hosea Kutako International Airport, you will be met by your representative or guide. Introduction will take place afterwards you will leave for for the City, Windhoek is the capital City of Namibia situated 45 km from the Hosea Kutako International airport, A cosmopolitan yet distinctive African city kaleidoscope of modern an traditional cultures and architectural style buildings. Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure exploring the city on foot. A short City Tour will be conducted to familiarize yourself .
Days 02 – WINDHOEK / KALAHARI (aprox.270 Km. – 3/4hrs)
After breakfast, you will depart south towards the Kalahari; soon you will notice the red sand of the Kalahari with its yellow grass and acias as well as shepherds trees covering the region. The Kalahari provides small antelopes, as well as a wide variety of game, you can embark on an afternoon game drive in search for the animals of the Kalahari. Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure exploring the surrounding.
Days 03 – KALAHARI / FISH RIVER (aprox. 420 Km. – 4/5hrs)
Today, we will have early breakfast and continue further south towards the fish river canyon, enroute we will have a stop at the quiver tree forest before we continue. Distributed with endless, dolerites and endless vegetation is what you will experience, the fish river canyon is one of the largest canyons in the world 160km in length and reaching up to 500 meters. You will have an sundowners during the afternoon, as well as experience what the fish river has to offer0 spend the rest of the afternoons at leisure exploring the surroundings
Days 04 – FISH RIVER / LUDERITZ (aprox. 380 Km. – 4/5hrs)
Today, after early morning breakfast, we will drive towards the coastal town of Ludertiz, this is the town where the first Diamond works began. on your way to Luderitz, you will see wild horse . Enjoy the rest of the afternoon, wondering around luderitz, with its historical architecture; enjoy a scenic drive to Diaz Point as well,
Days 05 – LUDERITZ/ HELMERINGHAUSEN (aprox. 280 Km. –
This morning after breakfast, we will pay a visit to the famous ghost town of Kholmanshoop. The remnant of a diamond blasting town, during the period of 1908 – 1950. We will than continue our journey towards TheTiras Mountains, here you will engage in an afternoon Cat Tour, to lean a bit of the cheetahs and their way of living. Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure exploring the area.
Days 06 & 07 – HELMERINGHAUSEN / SOSSUSVLEI (aprox. 240 Km.
This Morning after leisure breakfast, , you will exit to the gigantic dunes of Sossusvlei One of the unique and oldest deserts of the world, offering 130 million years of marvellous nature and the highest dunes of sand of the world. Many dunes are lineal and parallels to the sea. The sand is very orange due to the iron ore that contains and that simply has oxidized. We will arrive at our lodge situated 30 km from Sesriem in the afternoon and we will entertain with a short walk to the nearby Tube of Sesriem. To the entrance of Sossusvlei is the Sesriem Canyon, like the result of the erosion during many centuries a throat of a kilometre appears more or less than length and some 30/40 meters of depth. The following day we will leave early morning to enter the National Park of Sossusvlei situated inside the Namib Naukluft, where we will scale the Dune 45 for to appreciate the dawn and the different perspectives of the desert as well as to explore the nearby deadvlei After having breakfast they will be able to enter Sossusvlei.
Day 08&09 – SOSSUSVLEI / SWAKOPMUND (aprox. 300 Km – 4/5hrs)
Traversing towards Swakopmund through the dry Namib Naukluft, crossing the Tropic of Capricorn as well as stopping en route in Walvis Bay where, if we are fortunate, we will be able to see flamingos that inhabit the zone before continuing the coastal town Swakopmund, a pleasant city of German style situated exactly between the desert and the sea. Large beach, simple shops and good sea food restaurants are to be found here, there are various activities that can be done in this city. Such as Quadbiking, sandboarding, parachuting in the dunes, scenic flights, catamaran, etc. Just inform your tour leader or Tour guide in advance.
Day 10 – SWAKOPMUND / TWYFELFONTEIN (aprox. 350 Km –1/1,30hrs)
The following morning after leisure breakfast, Early Morning after breakfast, we will depart towards the Spitzkoppe mountain, our next destination, First we will make a stop at the Seal Colony. which is home to thousands of Cape fur seals. We will traverse through the town of Henties Bay, Which is also home to the salt works. Taking the salt roads via the coastal line, we arrive to the Cape cross lodge, situated on the edge of the fertile Atlantic Ocean, a serene haven for visitors to this vast untamed, seldom explored wilderness at the Skeleton Coast . Twyfelfontein. Which is an area extraordinary acquaintance for the engravings in stone carried out by the first inhabitants of the zone, We will be visiting the Organ Pipes as well as the Mountain Burned. Twyfelfontein is known for its geological and historic place and has been grated as a world heritage sites. Optionally, you could as well embark on a game drive early morning or late afternoon in search for the scares desert elephants which you might encounter should you be lucky enough. Day 11&12 – TWYFELFONTEIN / ETOSHA (aprox. 300 Km – 4/5hrs)
We will begin the day early in direction to the Etosha National Park, where we will enjoy one of the places of Africa for animal observation. Etosha is an extraordinary wildlife area, set amongst long stretches of arid savannah and scattered with waterholes, salt pans and lush woodlands attracting a wide variety of game. It dominated by the shining and white salty plain we will have the opportunity to see elephants, lions, orix, kudu, springbok, zebras, giraffes, etc. and with a lot of luck we will be able to see white or black rhinoceroses, and leopards. The two Days wil be spend doing safaris in the park as well as visiting waterholes ,where animals come to drink water.
Day 13– ETOSHA / WATERBERG –(approx. 350 km 4/5hrs)
After early breakfast, we will exit the park game driving towards the Waterberg. Rising like an enormous fort, above the surrounding plains, being one of the most scenic destinations in Namibia, here you can undertake nature walks, climbing the plateau as well as game driving. Spend the afternoon, at leisure exploring the surrounding area.
Days 14 WATERBERG – WINDHOEK 300KM
Today, we travel towards the Capital City, we will have a short stopover in Okahandja, to view the craft market where handmade crafts are sold, here you can purchase last minute souvenirs as well before we continue to Windhoek , where it will be the end of your tour. Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure
Days 15 – DEPARTURE
Today, you will be transferred to the airport on time for your outbound flight.
